We are thrilled to announce the tremendous success of our recent 24-hour Grapplethon, held to raise funds for the life-saving treatment for coach Alex's brother, Theo. Thanks to the unwavering support and generosity of our members and supporters, we have surpassed our fundraising target of £7500, raising a phenomenal total of £8,400 to-date!
The Grapplethon, a non-stop 24-hour grappling marathon, brought together dedicated grapplers, volunteers, and donors from our community and beyond. Participants engaged in continuous grappling sessions over a 24-hour period, demonstrating their commitment and resilience in supporting this noble cause.
We are overwhelmed by the incredible response and generosity of everyone involved in the Grapplethon, and the outpouring of support and camaraderie truly embodies the spirit of our gym. As a family and community, we have made a significant impact and provided hope for Alex's family.
The success of this event would not have been possible without the dedication of our participants, the hard work of our volunteers, and the kindness of our donors. Every contribution, whether through participation, assistance, or donations, has made a meaningful difference to the life of someone in need.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every individual who played a part in this remarkable achievement. Your support has exemplified the values of compassion and solidarity that define our community. We also hope that this event demonstrated that we genuinely care for you all, and should the need arise, we are always here to support our Ground Hammer family and community.
To Alex's brother and his family, we stand with you in solidarity and send our best wishes for a successful treatment journey ahead.
Stay tuned for updates on future events and initiatives at Ground Hammer as we continue to make a positive impact within and beyond our community.
Together, we are stronger.
Thank you, Ground Hammer Family!
