Andy started his journey in BJJ in 2012, although he had utilised No-Gi grappling since 2003 when he competed in MMA. He focused more on BJJ after retiring from MMA in 2013 with a professional record of 3-0. He has competed consistently in both Gi and No-Gi but prefers No-Gi.

  • 2017 British Army BJJ Championship Absolute Division Blue belt Silver medalist and No-Gi Bronze medalist

Off the mats, Andy served in the British Army for 27-years before leaving to pursue a career in the commercial sector. He is a fully qualified personal trainer, one of very few master kettle bell instructors in the United Kingdom and an SIA accredited Hostile Environment and Executive Close Protection operator/manager.

He currently works in the defence sector for PTD UK.
