Baz Hopkins
Black Belt
Baz holds a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt and has been training and competing for 13-years.
In this time, the Jiu jitsu Journey has enabled Baz to compete around the world to the highest level and he has racked up an impressive 200 competitive fights resulting in a total of 75 medals - 47 of which have been championship Golds.
His competitive highlights include:
- 10 x British champion
- 4 x English champion
- IBJJF international titles
- IBJJF European silver medalist.
- UEA World Tour Champion.
Baz has a Level 3 UKBJJ referees qualification and is currently a sponsored fighter under Hardlife Jiu jitsu.
He is looking forward to imparting his extensive knowledge of Jiu Jitsu with members of all levels. In his spare time Baz enjoys jumping out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft.
